Hi I was working for CRST in 2009 on a dedicated account. I called the rehire line and they told me since I haven't driven in 2 years, I'd have to go out with a co-driver for 2 weeks. Then they would try to get me back on dedicated when an account opens. Is this true? Or is the recruiter just trying to get me in so he can get paid? I have always had a good experience with CRST and that is why I want to go back with them. I have only run dedicated for them though. I have heard that you have to quit and apply for a dedicated position?! Is that true?
Can CRST expedited transfer over to dedicated?

As for dedicated, just tell your FM that you want to transfer to dedicated after your 28 days is finished. -
Hello, I am a dedicated driver for CRST. I was over the road and yes i had to quit van an apply for Dedicated. once you Put the app in call the dedicated recruiter right away. i like the dedicated alot more the otr. they treat you way better the otr. more hometime and perks.

There is no going over to dedicated from company unless you quit. You can tell your FM all day every day and they will just tell you there are no openings. They are lying because dedicated advertises all the time.

I was hired specifically for dedicated, so I can't say much about switching... But I would at least recommend stopping in cedar rapids and taking to the dedicated managers before you tell your fm you're quitting, heh.

I loved dedicated before I saw tye culture of leaving you sitting in a Walmart lobby because it's Bellow zero and your dispatch went home for the weekend halfway thru some serious request or truck issue or insane or threatening codriver problem. Crst is perfect if you are the guy who gets kicked while you are down and says please sir may I have another. These office types in cedar rapids have a Ted Bundy charm until they get you in the truck. Seriously every law suit against them is for things they do so flagrantly it's amazing they are still in business. Taking away home time, breaking up your marriage, leaving you to pay for things they have no intention of reimbursing you for and favoritism I how it works. I wish I had seen the "cedar rapids slave trade" graffiti in Iowa before I showed up to Riverside. Look up "toxic personality type, hostile work envrmnt"
