Can deaf people become truckers?

Wow, that's some crazy stuff there. It opens your eyes.

 

One of my best friends just graduated with his PhD in Health Services. He is profoundly deaf and cannot speak clearly. He was telling me that he still gets treated like a retard when he goes shopping or to the bank. I also know the CIA agent that trained all those deaf Libyan rebels. If you only have 1 eye you cant drive a truck either.....being able to hear is important....
