It's not really that difficult. Just show up in OH or CA on a regular basis, in a truck that will run 57 mph or faster :biggrin_25525: And pull salt from Morton Salt, located about 10 miles from the State Scale, and 30 miles from a CAT scale.

I have been told that time spent on cleaning and maintaining my truck are not deductable, or claimable.
So can I claim time doing my accounting books at the house for my O/O company? And what about the office space. I was told I could claim that? Is it true?

You are most likely a cash basis tax payer. You recognize income as it comes in and expenses when going out. Since you cannot take an expense when cash is not paid, no, you do not get the deduction.

It is no different than the work you do on the truck.
