I would'nt do it. Sit down and figure CPM, and revenue average/mi. You have to work 18 hr days to own your own truck, LOG BOOKS are a LIE BOOK. You have to take in 50-60,000 more than the expenses on the truck to make 40,000/yr. The Govt has more way to tax you than you can dream of. Don't forget in August there is a $500 tax due for using air I think. Only reason I know of. Income, SSI, State, Health insurance, truck insurance, fuel taxes, road use, ton mile taxes for Oregon and I don't know what else. Oh ya. Ask anyone if they have paid a fine in the last year for faulty equipment. In 3 years I drove 460,000 miles, made $690000, bought 175,000 fuel and then paid 160000 for Truck trailer, side kit, tarps, etc, etc, Insurance was 1100/month for the truck, 40% of it was for tases. You see where I'm going with this. I owed the govt $20,000.00 in taxes and the fuel bill was $20000 and I sold the truck for $44000 and had $4000.00 for 4 years of labor and got my meals paid for.

Using your own figures looks like you were doing very well, especially after your equip was paid for.
