Can I drive if injured?

I knocked myself out under a trailer and then tried to driver. It was like an out of body experience. I end up hitting a pole for no reason at all. Just effects from the concussion. I did not violate a law because the concussion effected my judgement. Once I became aware of my limitations, then driving became illegal. If you have a condition which YOU believe effects the safe operation of a Commercial vehicle, then it is a violation of the law for you to continue to operate that vehicle until you can safely do so. It is your call.

I would advise you that if you are in an accident to not mention your injury.

 

That's ok. Got the answer. Doc gave me a 5 day vacation, my company won't let me drive till released. Will be my longest time off in 8 years..
It's really a wise call. Continued clutch and climbing won't help it heal.

 

I would recommend you rent the movie Rear Window while you are off work. People living around you are most likely up to something.
