Can I fix this dry van wall without replacing the whole panel?

    I've got a little experience working on sheet metal, but not on dry vans. With those tears being right up against the edge, it doesn't seem like I could rivet a piece in. Is there a way for me to patch that without needing to replace a whole panel?

    This is a trailer I'm considering buying and just want to know what I'll be in for on the repairs.

    Patch it. Looks like you might be able to tuck it in under the rail at top. Nice white square patch. Won’t even notice it,

    Being sheet and post. Proper way would be cut out post,to post. Remove rivets low enough to slide new patch pannel in from behind. Then buck it in. Thin bead of silicon and roll.

    Pop rivets are not made for this and are only temporary. They will not last.

    Buck rivets preferred, mono bolt rivets will work. Not pops.
