I guess a little update might be in order, I'm going to leave on friday to Phoenix. I'm going to team drive with one of my friends. Im getting paid 316 dollars for the class. I was told either I'd be givin a truck to sleep in or I'd be put in a hotel. As of right now all their brand new trucks are spoken for so looks like ill be in a hotel. I wasalso told if I'd like to make a little extra cash I could do some local runs.

Naw my friend just so happened to be in town this week so I'm going to eun with him down to Phoenix, then solo afterwards. Itll be nice having somebody to show me how otr works. I've been dedicated ever since I've started. No trip ever took longer than one day and never longer than 400 miles.

Sounds good. Was going to advise against flatbed teams anyway. So did someone say you'll get a new(er) truck? The boxes on the 13s and 14s makes life a lot easier.

Are you going to still be with Swift and go into the flatbed division as a company or go into leasing?

Comany driver for a month or two then leasing. I have to hit that 10000 mile a month first before I qualify. I've never come close to that before. I did "otr" for a month then went to a day cab ever since.

    popcorn169 Thanks this.

im getting 10k+ a month right now but I dont qualify because of my accident so I have to wait until July or so before I can consider leasing if I decided I wanted to even do it, not sure what the pay scale is for Target for L/O but we have 4 or 5 of them that seem to be doing well.

Yeah, I see quite a few L/O's doing target up here too. Maybe it's the dedicated account you want to be on.
