I dont think you are done for good but you may have to go through trucking school? Most companies ask for 5 year accident history so if you dont list the accident, the company's insurance carrier will probably know about it anyway if there was a claim filed on it?@Chinatown can probably put you on the right path.

If you haven't worked in 3.5 yrs why would you want to comeback?

Have you worked at any other job(s) in the last 3.5 years?

If so, you may want to work another 6.5 years to get a full 10 year work history behind you, following the trailer backing accident.

In the mean time, save up for a good truck driving school, get yourself in the best physical shape and health possible, and do everything to keep your MVR clean, along with staying out of any and all types of trouble whatsoever.

Good luck to you! God bless you and your family!

I like how I'm being made fun of for wanting to return to trucking. I forgot how calloused this industry. Gotta love the saltiness

That attitude will get you nowhere. He was just being helpful. You will more than likely have to take a refresher course or a company school.

I was not making fun of you, I was trying to help you with the advice posted below. I myself am not a truck driver, I am still trying to figure a way to get into it after flunking a D.O.T. back on December 2015.

Again, good luck to you! God bless you and your family!
