My Last Class C DUI Conviction Was 1991.
I Began Driving Class A in 1998, BUT HAD TO LIST THE DUI Conviction Under The Multiple Questions On Trucking Applications, As Well Enter "Explanations".
    - - - -
    Some Companies Allow ZERO Convictions.
Some Companies Only Allow ONE CONVICTION In A Lifetime.
    Some Companies Allow Only 2.
READ THROUGH APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS AND/OR SPEAK WITH SAFETY BEFORE POSSIBLY WASTING YOUR TIME.
    NEVER LISTEN TO A RECRUITER!!

10 Years Old, Should Offer No Problems.

Well, I'll tell ya', you couldn't convince me otherwise that those aren't still on your record, along with pulling a dog by it's hind legs in the 3rd grade. With the driver shortage today, I highly doubt any company would go back that far, and you're probably okay, just don't open your mouth and say anything. In the event of a crash, you can bet a sharp lawyer will get a hold of those records. I hope that never happens. Best of luck.

I wish they’d just worry about whether they can drive the ####ing truck and mind their own business after that. They worry about checking political correctness boxes instead, and I’m getting tired of putting hoods on my trucks. I’ve replaced hoods on 3, and none of them happened on the road nor was it my drivers fault. One was replaced for me, but I ate the other 2, and I’m over that #### already. Some I know have taken to driving into parking spaces. They know it’ll be chaos getting out of there in the morning but there’s a pretty good chance the hood will still be on it.

    OK, that simplifies it then.
We can give you some companies to apply with.
The DUI's will show on a background check, but some companies, even though will see those, aren't interested in DUI's from that long ago. Just answer the questions on the applications carefully and don't reveal information that isn't asked for.
