Can I get some honest mileage from some current drivers?

I just talk to fellow member panhandle and he said between 2700 and 3000 miles for trans am.

And you are going to believe what a recruiter tell you?????? Go to a TS and just ask the drivers what miles they are getting.

 

That's all I hear from other drivers, is more miles. How about better pay? Then we wouldn't need more miles. More miles means work harder and longer the anyone else. Better pay is the way to go. The way I see it is someone working at Walmart can make just as much as we do, if there willing to put in the hours.

 

I'm fairly sure that with any carrier you'll find that the miles you get will depend on YOU and you willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. In my limited experience, getting the job done means accepting what is offered to you, gaining the confidence of your dispatcher/driver manager, etc., representing yourself and your carrier in a positive way to shippers/receivers and accepting that, once your 14 hour clock starts, ...lines 1 and 2 don't get much ink.

Torn between TransAm and Roehl? I'm not sure how much it matters as long as YOU give 110% or more. One of the two might be a better choice as far as your personal situation goes, but the bottom line is in your hands.

 

If you want to run more miles then learn how to use line 1 to your advantage. And use loose leaf logs as well.
