I live in California. I have heard other states have cheaper insurance rates. Can I get insurance from out of state agencies?

They are based on many factors , garaging zip is one of them .You can use insurance agency from any state you want but it will not lower your premium unless your company will be registered in AL or MO( for example , i i guessing it Should be significant difference from CA ) , as well as garaging zip

Relocate to a southern state, For some Reason Arkansas and Mississippi have low rates. Then you can haul back to California.

It depends on whether or not the agency that writes the policy, is Licensed in your State, and if the Insurance Co. offers coverage in your State. My Ins, is written by an agency in a neighboring State. Actual Ins. co. is in another State, altogether. Im sure you can deal directly with the Ins. co., Unless they require you go through one of their Agents, I’m guessing.
