Can I park overnight in a Chainup Area?

My question, can you stay in the chainup area overnight? Will the highway patrol knock on the door asking to move? Can you stay overnight if you run out of hours?

Some allow parking in the off-season, i.e. not in the winter. In the winter you certainly cannot park in a chain up area.

Wow a Trollisitic post! And he even enlarged his font. But... I happen to know that noob drivers blocking the chain up areas really pisses off the old timers. Which makes this post pretty funny

If you can't chain up you'll have no choice but to park up anyway.

Ok I’ll bite. Those signs at the chaining areas on the roadside after Baker City and all the way to Emmigrant Hill (cabbage) say right on them “no parking” and ODOT doesn’t play around. You would be better off just rolling to the next off ramp and park illegally there.
