Can I remove the passenger seat from a company truck?

I’d definitely ask, they might do it for you and store the seat for you.

Well, unless you plan on installing the Binford 9000 office a/c, not sure what you have planned. I had a friend hang a 110v a/c out the passenger window when parked. If the seat shakes, you may have driveline/vibration issues, and companies generally don't want the driver touching anything but the controls. 50 drivers will have 50 ways of doing something. You can take a small ratchet strap and secure it to the floor, but I wouldn't bother with it.

 

Modifying company equipment should be avoided, and you A/C idea is destined for immediate failure, so just forget about these ill-advised ideas.
The biggest 'modification' i ever did to company trucks was that I brought my own Hella H4 halogen headlights, and replaced the lousy square sealed-beam units it came with. Took all of 5 minutes each time I got a different unit to drive....

 

So you've had someone do that too? LOL

 

And how are you going to power this portable ac? You'll end up just running the engine anyways, so there's no real advantages to a portable ac over the provided bunk ac.

 

Removing the passenger seat gives a guy room for in-laws, wife, 3 kids, dogs, chickens, E-Bike charger, P P jugs etc.

 

Or bungee it.

 

If I could swing it, I would put a shower in mine.
