Can I request a female for my mentor?

    I'm going to be on the road for 6 weeks with a mentor through swift and I would like a female mentor. I'm a male, but would just feel that I would get along with a female much more so I don't want a male and am ready to decline if they give me a male.

    Is this ok to request at orientation?

    Uh you can request it but you will probably get a same sex unless you have some cause for it. And not just Swift. On top of that the trainer has to agree to it.

    Yeah usually most try to pair with the same sex.

    I guess maybe a woman is more likely to end up with a male trainer than the other way around. There aren't that many female trainers.

    I had a friend that used to train and she told me she quit training women.
