Can I run my cpap on a 400w inverter without idling?

It's ok. I tend to get a little bit out there in some of my posts like the last one.

Seriously I do not do well around CPAP because generally in the limited amount of time since the medical world push that crap onto everyone with no necks to speak of it's a racket in my book.

I try to keep it light.

Yes, like anything else, it will be exploited.

My neck size wasn’t the ‘red flag’ that got me into the sleep study, then cpap. It was the headaches all day, having to pullover half the time on 175 mile trip to the ranch to take a nap, and my wife telling me I stop breathing and wake up gasping for air.

Changed my life. Not an exaggeration.

All an APAP (Automatic Positive Air Pressure) does is blow air into the mouth.

The air pressure adjust throughout the night, if the machine detects a slower breathing pattern, it increases the pressure in order to keep the tongue from dropping back into the throat/trachea which cuts off the flow of oxygen, thus creating apneas.

    Which can be very DANGEROUS...

My friend's brother died a cpl years ago in his sleep, he stopped breathing. He was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea years before and was prescribed a CPAP, his brother told me he had stopped using it.

Reggie White (former NFL great) died in his sleep. His wife said he had stopped using his CPAP as well.

    No.
    Not on 4 batts reliably
An APU would be good to have or add a battery box for capacity

    For the cpap, no.

Didn’t even know you could get them 12v.
