Any antenna with a high wattage number refers to how much power you can send to the antenna without damaging the antenna. Unless your cb radio setup includes a whooping large linear amplifier, that antenna is no bargain for you.
    .
.IF you were thinking that the antenna would dramatically increase your transmitting power, sorry dude that aint going to happen. There just aint no way.

Wilson is a good antenna. I used the 2000 for many yrs.

bought good long cable, mounted on the grab handle behind the cab,( no tree trimming back there). ran the wire in through the side box and out from under the bunk. used a small piece of pipe so the cable wasn't crunched.

Had 2017 Cascadia and used the "invisible", internal antenna on my Cobra 29 and it worked great!! surprised me.

Francis is a wet noodle and even though its advertised as pre tuned, pppfffftttt

Dont bother spending any $ on any antenna if a mechanic is doin it cause chances are it will be done wrong...
Buy two popsicle stick n some string and a pop can and be happy..
Buying cheap now and more costly later is a waste....
Wanna stick with a cobra fine but DONT MOD IT....
Buy quality coax, proper mount, good ant stud and a top loaded ant....The longer the better(skip shooter or firestick) nothin else if its for a newer cascadia..
Do it yourself and learn or stick with above...
Go to youtube and look up my vids to help route coaax n such..

Dont peak n tune the radio,no amps nothin till you know more

Probably going to go with a mirror mount. Don’t like the stock antennas

Id go with something atleast 6ft long, preferably a top loaded antenna like a skipshooter or firestik.

Have seen guys with a wilson 2000,but you would have to go with a longer shaft.

Get the load coil of the ant as high up as possible(top loaded)without goin over 13'6"...So that means a tall ant like a 7ft skip shooter will work but you will need to lean it foward about 30 or so degrees,if not it will lean to far back twards the sleeper....Lotsa discussion on here re ant set up..
