Can Kwik Trip/Kwik Star Become The Next Love's And Compete?

They built one near a terminal I used to go to and everything seemed backwards once I drove in there. You had to do a u turn in a full parking area to get on the scale, and then there wasn't anywhere to park to get your scale ticket. Nice place, but hard to use unless you got there before it got crowded.

 

Nobody in our lifetime will catch up to loves.
They all sat around for 10 years and done absolutely
Nothing, while loves bought up every piece of dirt they
Could and opened 5 truck stops a week.

By the the time realized they better do something,
Or get crushed by loves, it was too late.

 

Depere, Pulaski, Kaukauna, appleton, Sussex, butker, west allis, sheboygan falls. All don't have truck parking

Kwik trips many of them are like mini grocery stores too…

 

They just opened another one in Prairie Du Chien WI. Most of us in town thought they would make it a Truck stop but they didn't. They do sell diesel but it doesn't have parking. It doesn't make sense because there's plenty of land they could of bought fright to the north and put in truck parking. I agree with the statement they aren't geared toward trucks for the most part. Now if some of you guys are coming through here the walmart which is next to kwik trip does allow parking so a few could park there. Just don't trash the lot like evidently has happened elsewhere to get the parking shutdown. They do have good food options though. The chicken tenders are real good and they do rotate food out so it isn't there forever. That's usually not an issue though as they do a good business.

If you stop at kwik trip very often or run in this area get the app on your phone it's worth it.
Casey's is the other upper midwest big convenience store chain. Again if you stop at them occasionally get that app too. Casey's pizza is awesome. Okay enough on the app tips to get ya fat.

 

I don't think so. They don't have the amenities that the big 3 have. Not all of them have that much parking or showers either. I do love their pizza though.

 

I would moreso like to see Casey's expand. They have a lot of locations and many of which have truck fueling, but ut ain't many of them that are like the location in Cedar Rapids, IA

 

Kwik Trip in Neenah Wi just started serving broasted chicken it was good.
Other fare is mostly heat lamp roller dog style very good salad selections , there is no truck parking bobtail only at most KTs in NE Wisconsin, Don Whitlow could make anything happen , he's got some deep pockets.
