It is starting to get old, isn't it? A little complaining is alright but constant whining, especially when we've given him good advice and workable alternatives, just turns people off.

To the OP...buck up, Buttercup. Learn to look for your own solutions to your problems.
If we can help you we will. But enough of the "poor me" routine, okay?

You should have taken the offer. (Not you Tinytim, it's the whiner, the slacker, the wishy washer)

You wishy washy too much. When someone Mr Big shows up and says Igots you work in my giant tonka truck hauling oil rigs 2 million pounds at 50K an hour.

By god you tell him you start work int he morning, sharp. Where is the truck at? You must strike while the iron is hot in these offers. being wishy washy refusing this and that.. you are missing so many oppetunitye.

Don't be me. 51 years old and wore out in a truck older than I am dumping blacktop filling holes now and then.

I dont know the legalities. I imagine you call an attorney. Did you sign a contract with him? If you did read it. If not just see what he says.

I hate "word on the street" type of posts cause you dont know for sure. So, see what he says. If he tries it then you can either not pay it and leave and chance him suing you or just pay for it.

@pattyj was right. You should have pretripped the truck and reported that ahead of time, especially seeing as how that is a dot violation.

And the funny thing is, people keep telling him how bad he has it and to find another job. This guy is a malcontent. He's never gonna be happy- and his work history proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Work sucks. We get it. But MOST people understand it's necessary and pick and choose their battles. This guy whines about the $3 per week less he gets paid for the hour he washes the truck.

    Some guys are NEVER happy!

trucking is not for you. You complain about
    Everything and everybody.
Just get the freaking job done, keep your mouth shut,
get your paycheck And go home. Your not going to change how These companies operate.

How many jobs have you had in your 7 months.
You couldn't cut it OTR so you're first company
Put you out on the side of the road.

You wanted a local job because you couldn't
Stand to sleep at a truck stop and in your words
OTR drivers all work for free.

Now you got your local hourly job and your
Complaining about everything that the owner
Does and the little Paycheck's you get.

Its his company he can do whatever he wants.
You take it or leave it.

Between drivers that steal fuel. Drivers that don't know how to properly operate a vehicle. Drivers that constantly knocking off California mirrors. Drivers that back mudflaps onto curbs and yank the mudflap brackets off and bend them. Drivers that knock off fairings because they don't know how to back out of a bad situation and try to make a stupid 180 in a space not large enough for said turn. ETC ETC ETC I am surprised a vehicle owner can make any money! I have NO sympathy for drivers that do this and think truck owners SHOULD make the drivers pay for damaging their trucks!
