    Only a matter of time before a paycheck bounces so hard it knocks a few teeth out, and if they're regrooving tires with a hand grinder it ain't far away.

    DOT won't notice it was re-grooved. As a driver, I would rather just run with the bald spot than deal with that. Preferably, neither.

    Mechanic used 20/hr worth of time to get 10 dollars out of a tire. I done didn't get learned much in school, but fixing the underlying issue seems to be the more logical option.
