Can plug ext. speaker connection into aux port of my car radio?

    It should be possible. Not sure what the quality would be. Remember that the CB audio is mono so a standard stereo cable will mean you will only hear the cb audio out of one speaker on your stereo.

    But then you couldn't listen to music, or The Jay Thomas Show.
    External CB speakers are pretty cheap.

    As was stated, you'll only hear it on one side. Also, turn the volume down low at first. The CB puts out more power than the stereo was intended to handle, so keeping the volume down is a must if you don't want to be blown out the window when a big radio keys up. It also will amplify any engine noise you may have. But yes, it can be done.

    Thanks for the reply. I'll just get an external speaker since they're affordable.

    What do you guys recommend for a good inexpensive ext speaker? Thanks

    I used to use a Texas Ranger chrome speaker, it is great, but the Cascadia doesn't have a cubby hole to jam it in, so I'm using a $13 Roadpro, it sounds cheap, but it's ok, I just got a $30 Cobra speaker, but I ain't got around to hooking it up yet.
