Can Prime Inc. hold my CDL

If thy are sending it to the hotel have them forward it to you. If Prime takes it contact USPS to see about possible mail fraud since it is addressed to you.

 

When trucking companys get the power to destroy CDL's as well as issue them during orientation we would have truly lost our way of life.

 

Prime Inc. can't take your cdl. You'll have to have Prime forward it to your home address in NC.

 

They usually won’t forward anything from the DMV

 

You will need to change your address with the DMV anyway since you are no longer residing at the Prime Inn.

 

If you live in MO it should be easy. Just go to local dmv and tell them you moved. The routine should be self explanatory at that point.

If you reside outside the state. Ask them what to do

 

Just an FYI, if the item is addressed to you, not to prime or in care of prime, they can not legally hold, open or tamper with the mail. It isn't just a federal offense, a lot of states have laws that also prevent people from messing with the mail.

If they don't forward the license in a sealed envelope, request another one from the state and tell them where you want it sent to, and also file a complaint with the post master general about the company tampering with the mail, including opening up mail, holding it for ransom and not forwarding it.

 

Gooberment mail is non forwardable. Can't be forwarded.

 

No your cdl is yours once you pass the test your cdl it's yours and only yours.
