It was the first part I was questioning, where he tells me he's spent this time in the industry, but portrays himself as 0-1 year driver.
And you skipped the most interesting part of that story!
There are offshoots from Dick Simon still about... one of them is KTS, and there's another company out there using the Simon name.... both the aforementioned use the skunk as part of their logo, although the former's skunk is a bit "piratey" looking.
Can social media be the demise of bottom feeder companies?

Since I've done such I fine job of hijacking, I'll derail this even further:
For years, the skunk on Simon's trucks flew the Jolly Roger, AKA Skull and Bones. However, at some point near the end, someone (who obviously got a lot of trophies for just participating,) decided it was wholly inappropriate to have that symbol on a truck that carried foodstuffs. The thinking (and yeah, that's a stretch to call it that,) was that the Jolly Roger too closely resemble the symbols for poison, and idiots (I'm sorry) people would be confused that trucks were hauling poison into their food warehouse. And away went the Roger...

seems to me Witching hour is defending the Bottom feeder companies? because he/she likes to argue on how no one can bring them to shame. and help steer people away from them.

Its a true statement that the drivers for these companies are just as accountable (if not more) as the companies we have dutifully labeled as bottom feeders.
A great example would be nazi soldiers in WWII. I highly doubt they all felt the same way as hitler. But are they any less to blame for not taking action and just following orders? Or is hitler the one that should take all the blame? I'm aware this is a vastly different set of events, but the setup is similar.WitchingHour Thanks this. -
What exactly is tech savvy anyway ? Research a company on your smart phone, Post comments pic's and videos every where you can (Facebook, Twitter, etc), Make yourself and ponits known on the said company's Facebook fan page, Boast about the number of friend's / follower's you have.
Sounds so scarey ! -
I ran a small (I was the only employee...lol) tech repair business as a side job before this. It was amazing what we toss that could be repaired. My mother just recently got a new tv as the old one died. I intend to take the old one apart and attempt to diagnose it. I find that type of thing fun. Plus, I was told if I can fix it I can keep it. Free 52 inch plasma? Sure...I'll fix that right up! Lol
Anyways... Back to the topic at hand. Tech saavy means you're able to operate technology and its components (software, remotes, peripherals, ect.) with at least basic skill without use of instruction or assistance. At least that's my definition. -
