can someone explain HOS reset to me?

    HOS rules do not assume starting time of 0001, why bring a 24 hour clock into the discussion? 24 hour clock denotes a day of the week, i.e., 0001-2400 ... your 14 hour clock begins the minute you begin after a qualifying 10 hour break. Your drive/work time might carry through midnight, but that doesn't change hours available or hours driven/worked, just denotes how many hours consumed on that given day of the week.

    If you are recapping hours, those hours come back at midnight of your home terminal time zone.
