Can someone help recomend a gps

    I was looking to get a trruckers gps and with so many out there now I want to see who lokes what or if there are any that should be avoided.

    I'd recommend the Rand McNally product. They make the big truckers atlas and they do a pretty darn good job with their GPS. I've not used any other brand so I cannot comment on those.
    Do a search, DieselBoss did a comparison some time ago, you might find that helpful.

    I just use the one on my smart phone. It's free and I don't have to worry about updating it. Plus I can use either the sat (google earth) view or the map view. It even has business names. Came pre-installed on my iphone and on my droid2.

    I tried useing the gps on my phone but when I cross refrence my atlas it doesn't alway match up

    That satellite view on Google maps for phones is pretty useful when trying to find places that you've never been to.
