So I was wondering how you can jog in the truck. Jokes aside, 10 minutes of jump rope burns more calories than 30 minutes of jogging. I carry a speed rope and a 2-lb rope on the road. I mix in 1-minute jump rope sets with pushups, planks and other easy exercises. Kind of like a tabata workout. You get a lot more bang for your buck, and you're building muscle at the same time you burn fat. Of course, it all goes for naught if you then go fill up a half-gallon trucker mug with Pepsi. I look at some of these guys guzzling down the sodas and wonder how many kidney stones they've passed or have yet to pass.
