I didn't mention it earlier, I forgot but I also bought the $15 VIOFO Official Polarizing CPL Filter Lens Cover. That will really cut glares down from the sun and other sources.
Can someone recommend a good Dash Cam

I've run a couple cobra 840 and they work ok. Eat memory cards for some reason but could be the cold winters. Nothing fantastic but they are cheap and do the job.
I've had a cobra 825 for a year or so in the truck that I drive. I haven't had a single issue with it but I have to admit that I don't know much about them. I record on a 2 hour loop and have a very small memory card. I do this specifically because I want my drivers to use them in case of a accident that they are not at fault for but if they think I review them, they are more likely to not turn them on.
Here is a video I downloaded today of some yahoo going In front of me then deciding to let on the brakes. No mic and the date is wrong, I just adjusted them after..... never really played with the camera before today....
Crev9 Thanks this. -
I was looking at a system like @Dieselboss was referring too. They have normal run of the mill single or the multi camera system.
I was looking at this one
http://www.windshieldcam.com/
I'll have to check out diesel boss to compare. -
Here's another one I took today although the windshields dirty.
Good thing the school bus didn't have kids on it, I was sliding on the ice trying to stop!
ichudov Thanks this. -
