The symbol is only on before I crank over the engine, then it goes away.

If you buy a child bride from Sudan, and pay more than 200 goats for her, then touch that, and close your eyes, everything you ask for will come true. But it only works on Tuesdays in odd numbered months, and you must be parked at a restaurant at the time.

I have a friend that works at Peterbilt and he says it is an idle indicator that some companies use for a sort of rewards program. Looks like you're at 2% idle time. Good on ya saving your company dough!!!;)

What it means is your driving your truck properly ... go to the screen that shows braking and coasting you’ll see the percentage is the same... the lower the percentage the less your driving needs improvement according to the computer. PS the clown that delivered my Pete 579 to the dealership had it up to 95% so I was confused that no matter how gentle I drove it kept going down lol

My third night away from home and going crazy is all. You can say it, my skin is thick lol
I'm a truck driver after all....and no such thing as a driver who isn't crazy.

That doesn't seem right, I often leave the truck running during my walk-around, and also to make sure my batteries stay charged after my low voltage shutdown when I'm parked for the night somewhere.

I think my friend was off. It sounds like what @magoo68 said makes more sense.
