Can trucks be held liable for damage to roads?

    No. The taxes that you pay for each state that you operate in is designed to go towards road maintenance. It is possible that the builder may replace the road when the project is complete if the road is damaged.

    I am sure they will fix the road once there is no need for heavy load traffic.
    I want to know where the course is and when can I make a tee time??

    Like has been mentioned, they may already be held contractually or there’s a bond. If it’s all private sector they may have a municipal permit to cover the trucks accessing the site on sub-standard or no truck roads. Then there’s the politics when it comes to bigger projects. If the municipality is ever left exposed to the road damages it’s intentional. Thats the same as town council putting a few million in a bag to get the developer to build there instead of the next town over kind of thing. The developer may even send a bag of cash back to a councillor or two under the table as part of the bargain. Even local politicians are weasels.
