Cost determine what you can make off a load . so knowing your cost pm , terrain conditions on lane & such u can figure out if a load on this or that lane is worth doing.

I appreciate your concern but again this thread is about freight lanes. However, in thy upcoming months as I gather more knowledge on this topic I'm already expecting to find out a better company to go lease for, or just work period. But as of now that's not what this specific topic is about

Your green is showing. Dont get mad! Continue on your quest for information. However the questions themselves speak loudly.
What they say is, your not ready to be thinking about joining Schneider IC.

I dont think anything about you. Nor do I care, if you ask 3 or 3000 questions before signing a lease.

Oh and I'm not being a jerk, I'm really not! Dont no you from a whole in the wall.. Experience tells me by the time a driver is ready to consider going IC. They are asking different questions, and already no the answer to these. Safe travels have a nice day

Youve been on this forum a week. The question he's asking is just like every other rookie that comes on here with high hopes of being an "owner operator" by getting swindled by a mega carriers lease "purchase" program.

Funny how I and several others already knew the mistake the OP is fixin to make just by the random question he asked. And this isnt just for him, its for every other person that'll come on here asking the same questions over and over. Maybe they'll read beforehand and it'll give them something to think about.

I’m not mad at all. Saying I'm not ready to sign a lease is one thing, saying I'm not ready to THINK about signing a lease, because I'm asking questions about freight lanes, is a whole other thing. Sounds very pretentious and like you're just tying to look down on someone.

I'm asking questions because I like to have as much knowledge on something as possible. I've always been a company driver so where exactly am I gonna get experience to make me think I know everything about freight lanes? As a company driver me running out of a city or doing a route doesn't mean it would be the most profitable for me if I actually starting leasing my own truck. It's two different things.

I don't know what's wrong with asking. The other day I had a issue with my release handle and searched the forum and found a topic that was 5 years old and found a trick on getting it loose. Pulling a release handle is a basic function, but since I had a question about it does that mean I'm not ready to drive trucks?

Again, you judged again and judged wrong. I never said I'm trying to be an owner operate one time in this thread. And swindled how? If I was getting swindled I would have been talked into a lease considering I started my trucking career as a young 21 year old with nothing on my mind but money. I'm about to be 25 now.
And no, you can't judge anything in about to do by seeing me ask a question about freight lanes, you think you can because you think you know everything.

Most people that are going to move up to their own truck already know the answers to your above questions. The do their own research & talk to o/o or l.p operators. that are running certain lanes.

Well it’s a difference between thinking you know the answer and actually knowing the answer.
I’ve been doing research but I like to get my information from all avenues. There’s nothing wrong with that, so again stop being pretentious because you’re starting to contradict yourself
