Hi, my friend got EGR valve code PID 27 on D12D 465 HP engine, truck was powerless and was doing 5.5 mpg so our mechanic welded both EGR valves. Now he gets PID 27 and PID 362 codes and truck is still powerless with the same mpg's.
My question is:
shouldn't this whole EGRs welding helped or just it wasnt the problem from the beginning and we should start looking somewhere else?
Can welded EGR valves still take power off VED D12 engine ?
