yeah, and why not..?? if i work and pay my bills and earn my rights to a new car or truck every few years, why shouldn't i be anal about its appearance and mechanical condition..?? i do not trash out any vehicles i have ever owned, which brings me pretty good trade-in values...
and would i be the guy that slams on his brakes as you aid in another posting...???
HHHMMmmmmmm...thanks for giving me that thought next time..!!!

I had a roll over ..my dash was not working properly and i was coming from a 60 mile per hour straight away..and got my truck down to 7th gear but still breaking to make the turn with a load of soda..the truck rolled over..ofcourse a dot reportable..I am currently going through workmens comp and also have a citation for not controling my vehiche..but a company .I mean a tempservice wants me to work for them because the incident is not on my mvr..but it is on my dac report..I think that I shouldnt work for them or is this possible and if so for how long..

First the correct term is DOT RECORDABLE NOT Reportable. There is NO report made. Accidents as defined by the FMCSA must be RECORDED in that Carriers Accident Register. Yes it is VERY likely this roll over is on your DAC. However as long as you still have your CDL and have /or can get a DOT medical card by all means go back to work. Yes some companies might not hire you but there are many more that will!

On the TN accident report I received from an incident about 2 years ago there is a box that says "FMCSA REPORTABLE." Accidents not only have to be recorded by your carrier but also may get reported to the FMCSA to get recorded in the CSA and show up on your PSP whether you were at-fault or not. I'm assuming they follow the same guidelines though there is a box on your PSP that also shows whether an accident had a hazmat spill/release involved as well.
As for TRUCKERMOMA why don't you think you should work for the temp agency? If they are willing to overlook the accident I don't understand what the issue is unless you think you can do better?Last edited: Jul 1, 2017

When you are involved in what the FMCSA considers an accident the carrier ONLY records it in their accident register. The FMCSA ONLY gets notified if a DOT/MCAP/CVSA officer files an inspection report. Everything else comes from the accident reports filed BY THE POLICE OFFICER that did the investigation. However I would be VERY interested is seeing that document you mentioned.

Edit: TTR really hates Imgur apparently, and I have no idea what the heck all those red Xs are supposed to be.
