I thought about getting my deleted but have meant so many people having to overhauled there engine after a delete.
I think keeping up on the maintenance on the system is very important.

Usually having to rebuild after a delete was because the people doing the deletes are hacks at best. I will speak no more on the subject since they frown on it around here.

The engine behind all the emissions crap usually isn’t bad…it’s all the trouble the 70% of accessories you replaced that gives them a bad name. I have personally worked on several million plus mile n14 and 3406e one owner engines that you could literally keep all the parts that have been replaced in a small shoebox. And would guess these guys have spent well under 5k in other than routine maintenance
thinking about how little it would cost to keep a big cam or 3406 running past the million mark makes me sure of my choice on older equipment
Congratulations on your million plus mile engine it’s a great thing regardless of what it is

    Thanks you.
    I haven't had much experience with n14
But I have with alot of 3406 before and after emissions. They're good engines but good lord when they do break down #### near put you in bankruptcy to repair.
I was 850,000 miles before I really and to had problems lost the injectors then about at 1,000000 lost fuel pump. But excluding oil changes and tires ect I haven't had a lot that I personally wouldn't expect from really any truck.
But at the end of the day if you treat your truck like #### I would except it would matter what truck you had it would last.

One of the reasons I'd never touch a used truck from a fleet. 50k mile oil changes and a grease job 3x a year, no thank you. That's a moneypit right there.

Sitting on a 2006 S60 14.0 deleted. Rebuilt at 1.1m miles currently 1.3m miles. Broke due to bull gear finally busting chasing empty highway with a bull hauler. Runs like a bank robber now
