Yeah I wont really be carrying anything I guess. But I would want to if Im going into unknown territory.
Thanks medicineman for that link. My school teaches you cannot carry even with a permit, but theres a student who insists he can and will. He says especially when in Utah, since thats where he was first shot at. LOL This guy is so funny, hes got some great stories.
You always hear horror stories about local law enforcement, I think thats where the obscurity lies.
I think that CMV operators should be able to get a nationwide permit if they are clean, law abiding citizens with no felonies, just because of the nature of the business. Of course our right to bear arms has been largely distorted by the government and confusion is the norm.I am medicineman and wulfman75 Thank this. -
You have the right to carry, I do not disagree.
The owner of the truck also has the right to say if you carry on his vehicle.
I still see no reason to carry.
You are entitled to your thoughts just like anyone else.
A student needs to understand the possible loss of a job because of a gun.
At my company, if you are found with it, your lease is terminated.chalupa and Cudascious Thank this. -
My boss encourages me to carry in my truck..
rocknroll81, Big Red, Cudascious and 3 others Thank this. -
Why carry a gun??? Because all it takes for evil to prevail, is for good men to do nothing! There ARE predators in the world...lots of them!
A story...that makes a good point.
Cudascious and SheepDog Thank this. -
I am medicineman Thanks this.

I own my truck.
Almost every trucking company has that rule.
I also cross into Canada quite often.
Other than that, I really do not care what you think about my company.
If they did not have the rule, I still do not see the need nor do I worry like some on here. -
Maybe your company should get some signs made for the doors?
Attention criminals: Company policy prohibits drivers from being armed
Let us know how that works out. LOLBig Red, SheepDog, I am medicineman and 2 others Thank this. -
I am not worried and probably will be around alot longer than you.
I would imagine that if you are a company driver, there is probably a rule about it as well.
The point is that we will not agree.
I own a gun before you go off.
I do not run around screaming the sky is falling and I might die. I need my gun.
Or that my rights are being violated.
As far as my position on this thread, it differs from others. It is the result of the right I have to think for myself.
You can do as you see fit. -
I am medicineman and Blackjack Thank this.
