Can you drag a truck with Autoshift transmission in neutral around the yard?

Eatons 2 or 3 pedal just air them up. Across parking lot fine. Volvo I shift, or Mack M drive. dont move them without removing shaft or all 4 axles. And to the guy that said they tow trucks up to 10 miles, dont use this guy. This is careless. Rear tow or shaft or axles come out.

 

I will vouch for the ishift. Holy crap i learned that the hard way. I was in the Company’s yard less than 5mph just idleing from fuel island to the man door by the docks. Boss comes out to talk, he starts talking before he gets to me & i can’t hear him for nothing. I shut the truck off at maybe 3-4 mph so i can hear him.

I got a loud bang from the rearend and a grind untill i came to a full stop. Thank God when i refired the truck it went into gear. Never did have a problem out of it, but never ever tried to coast in that in again.
