I have not been to NYC or Miami. Usually don't go east of Pittsburgh.
Atlanta - home terminal and traffic always blows. If it's not traffic, there's road work or a wreck holding everyone up. And no trucks in left 2 lanes is lame.
LA - driven here during rush hour. Similar to Atlanta's traffic, only 3 times the distance, lol.
Dallas - their freeways, interstates, etc are weird IMO.
Nashville - they don't have enough lanes for all the interstate changes.
Smaller cities like Chattanooga, TN and Baton Rouge, LA can be annoying at times. The Charlotte area is bad on I-77 but better on i-85. Cincinnati has some road work going on that slows things down.
Never had any problems in Houston, Chicago, Detroit, or Minneapolis.
Well it should be for all the tolls they collect, lol.
Can you experienced guys rank the 5 worst cities to drive through?

For traffic, the usual suspects: Los Angeles, NYC, Chicago, DC, Atlanta.

Philly.
Just Monday I conquered queens. Finally got the bridge crossing off my back.
Tuesday, jersey load turns into a bust. They preassigned me coca cola Philadelphia.
Get off 95, no truck roads, shippers directions were crap, panicked, and straight up left.
I will never go back there. Once I was calmed down, every road off the hwy system is gray lines.
Every one. Screw that. Never again.
NYC is 2, 3 is dallas/fort Worth, 4 is LA, 5 is the I 40 corridor in Tennessee. -
That reminds me. Boston is up there.

Boston is easy. 93 is only 10 miles end to end

Funny thing is, you don't make deliveries in downtown with an otr truck. Boston proper is all financial/residential.
Unless you're bedbugging.
Even then, you're not going up beacon hill or the north end in anything bigger than a 24 ft box with cab over.
When you guys say Boston, you mean south Boston, Dorchester, Roxbury, quincy,Everett at the new England produce center, and maybe east Boston if you're delivering at Logan airport.Bob Dobalina Thanks this. -
Worcester, Leominster, et al are outside of Boston.
