Pretty sure that's a sure fire way to fail your Dot drug test. All the crack and amphetamine smoke
in the air will screw you up without even doing drugs. On that note , Glide church has some tasty free meals for the budget trucker :)

I read all the grief the OP got for asking his newbie question, but...I have a newbie one along-the-lines with his. I've been wondering for a while if you can take "home time" in different cities? Do companies allow you to take a few days off (banked days) in different places? My thoughts were, if I was in a new city that I would like to visit, site-see, I could using personal days. If so, are you allowed to drop off your trailer at a truckstop and bobtail it into the city, or do you leave the truck and bike (like the OP) into the city? Or, do you bring you truck and trailer in? Can you leave your truck and/or trailer at a truckstop for a few days, or is that asking for trouble? Im not planning to site-see much, but I always wanted to see (experience) NY and Philly (and a few others).

    DNA, sure why not.

More than likely, you'll just leave you trk n trlr at the truckstop and either rent a car or ride your bike. I'd be wary of dropping your trlr, because a lot of places have dropped trlr policy. If in doubt? Ask.

Well you know. If you can't revel in your own insanity, whats the point of it?
