Can you get a CDL with a conviction of transporting illegals in Texas?

How long ago was the conviction.
Apply to a school, either private or trucking company school and find out what the answer is.

 

Yes it is. A Human Trafficking conviction is now a disqualifying event.

Right now you can make about $50,000 a week trafficking people up from near the border. You don’t even have to go across the border. Just bring them further up into the US. However when you get caught, and you will get caught, the government will go through everything you own and take it all. You will be left with nothing and probably a 10 year prison sentence. You might get some quick change in your pocket, but you better spend it at the casino as fast as you get it because let me tell you something they will take it all. Not worth it!

 

Government regulations can be a nightmare to decipher.
I'd go to a cdl school and ask.

 

I believe the ruling I referred to above mentioned sex trafficking, not necessarily human trafficking at the border. Someone who knows how to post links better than me will hopefully come along....

 

If worse comes to worse, you can get a non-cdl driving job.
That would be box trucks and some hotshot trucks.
