i have done it many times going down mountains i was quite good at got quite a rush from it too. however i have been lucky and now that i own my own truck i dont do that kind of reckless behavior also keep in mind with a heavy load it can be done too easily and thats why DOT sits at the bottom of mountains cause they know how easy it is to write a bunch of speeding tickets to trucks going down too fast

I got popped 2 weeks ago for 73 in a 65 coming down the hill into Albuquerque at the 154 yard stick. Thankfully it wasn't 10+ over, but it slowed me down.

i rarely ever go more than 5mph over the limit and that's only when im really in a hurry i normally dont drive more than 65 even when speed limits are 70-75 about the only time i really ever stretch a trucks legs is passing on a 2 lane highway. back off and wait till you see a big enough gap to pass put er to the wood time it so the gap opens up as your closing in and hold er to the wood till your past them and a safe distance behind to move back in and out of the opposing lane then jake er right back down to the speed limit. i don't think id ever pass on a 2 lane in a truck with its nuts cut.

I love coming off that hill at night going East, no other view like it. Albuquerque looks like Dimonds laid out on black velvet.

Of course you can go 100 mph down a hill but why would you want to?That's like playing russian rullette with your life and others on the road.Anybody who likes to feel big and bad driving an 18 wheeler should'nt be out here.
