Can you hit a gym out on the road.

Are their gyms at truck stops?? Not just no but hell no. Why would there be? Seems like every 5-7 years a new gym craze comes along. But the ones in "travel plazas" have been tried and failed miserably. Buthe don't give up, IF you want to work out. IF you join a nayl gym. IF your willing to put in the work. IF your willing to walk a block or two, or drop your trailer. Then the only thing stopping you is you. Don't blame your schedule or loads. Most natl gym are open 24 hr a day. Yes you might have to drop tel and bobtail. Or park a few blocks away and walk in. But if you want to do it. Nothing stopping you! As a mover I had a ride along helper. Who was a boxer and gym rat. He would walk, ride his bike, whatever it took. But he always found a place to workout and spa with someone.

 

Of course you can. Anybody can hit a gym. What kinda damage you looking to do?

 

It is possible to eat healthy and stay fit, but it is not easy to do. Just don't try to do regular workouts the same time everyday. It is like most everything else. Stay flexible and ask questions it's amazing what you can find out if you just take the time to ask..

 

Last week i seen an o/o with a really sweet looking pete pulling an empty stepdeck. On his catwalk was a unicycle mounted to a custom bracket. I thought to myself "now how cool is that!"

That's what I was thinking when I saw the title of the thread!

 

That's why you carry a roll up mat or piece of carpet, and wear gloves. I can do sit ups & leg lifts off of a tire. Pull ups I've not figured out a way yet.
