In fact... I think about a ordinary asteroid and it's near vertical impact profile vs the Capitol Building in Little Rock and it's immediate effects on the earth. The crater will be approx 800 meters down or more precisely understood to be 2400 feet down. And the distance from one side to the other of such a crater generated would be approximately 21 miles. The ejecta's fall around the rim of this crater extends about 10 to 15 miles outward. So... if you are 25 miles from the Capitol building when it got hit by the space rock big enough, there is 5 feet or so of rock above your one story home which essentially ceased to exist.
This volcano has a known volume storage tank of liquid rock around 50 miles down by 300 miles across and approximately 70 miles wide. So upon contact with the atmosphere and it's abundant moisture in the rivers etc in the area, the material will convert to a very strong acidic rock which will essentially dissolve whatever it hits on the way back to earth which it's eastern edge will be approximately a few hundred miles offshore in our Atlantic Ocean up and down our entire East Coast about 4 to 9 days after eruptions have begun.Dharok and daf105paccar Thank this. -
