Maryland advertises TRUCK PARKING WHEN CLOSED at its weigh stations on 70.

The ones at the toll booths on 95 have a large parking area and real restrooms.

Never, EVER, enter ANY Ohio Weight station, unless you're legally obligated to do so.

Hey, is PA still not enforcing on guys parking in random spots on the side of 76?
Had to do that a few times, was never pleasant.

zoekatya, ReeferOhio and stabob Thank this.

I travel regional in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Michigan, Ohio will use any excuse to level one a truck ANY excuse. They have become very aggressive on inspections, the chicken coups are usually packed with Motor carrier enfacement when the are open. It is true they work the rest areas as well, especially on 70 just west of Columbus.

I will keep that in mind when i get out there. I got 2 weeks of orientation and then my 5-6 weeks of training with my trainer so I would hope thats enough to understand what and how to do things.
