can you use rolloff truck as a dump truck?

    The answer is yes (with the right can/ truck).But will you be as productive as a real dump truck ? No...

    A random load to a residential job would be ok. But feeding a plant or big road base job not so much.

    IIRC, the dump trucks I ran typically weighed 24 - 26k, whereas a tandem rolloff with a 15 yard can weighs in the vicinity of 33 - 35k. Do the math on that one.
