What I said is correct, "... depending on the province..."

The only reason people get up-in-arms and/or make false statements is because they do not educate themselves. Canadian healthcare is among the best in the world. Period.

As far as it's peer group, it is better in some areas; not so good in others. It can stand some improvement.

Healthcare in Canada is not free, but it is reasonably efficient... even moreso given some of the unique complexities and costs associated with delivering healthcare across this entire country. It is universal in the sense of it being a single-payer system with certain services being mandated by the federal government in order for the provinces to receive funding. After that it is up to the provinces to determine what else they cover. The same as if you're dealing with different healthcare insurers (which you are).

If you're an interprovincial driver you should get supplemental coverage just the same as you should if you're an international driver.

    Flint1 Thanks this.

You seem to like arguing for the sake of arguing. What was I wrong about?

You only wait if your not critical. If your in need they make space. I have lots of family and friends who have needed care fast, and all got it, fast, and in some cases life saving. And nobody had to take out a mortgage or loose their home or equity. My wife and I in particular.

peterd, not4hire and Flint1 Thank this.
