Canada-Only OTR, New Driver?

    The problem with not rewarding loyalty and experience is that you eventually lose the good experienced guys. They get tired of getting the pita ### loads because they're afraid the newer guys will screw it up or will need their hands held through it. Thats been the problem with trucking forever.
    As far as Contrans being a bottom feeder that's bs. I get loads from them daily so l see them training guys a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if guys quit during training. I'll see guys that are hired to pull drywall and lumber and they'll be chaining 4 drop steel loads with the rest of the steel haulers during their training. I'm not a cheerleader for Contrans by any means but to label them a bottom feeder is wrong.

    What is their mileage rate? I dont see it listed on their site. For comparison I earned .36 a mile in 1991 pulling B's for Mckevitt during a 3 year stint.
