any trucker atlas should be fine if it has Canada in it, we keep things pretty simple up here the old one road up dar in Canada is relatively true (trans Canada) for more detailed maps just find an Irving Big Stop and grab one of those local city map books.

Thanks for the replies so far. I took a three drop load this week, first drop Langley, second, Surrey and third Annacis Island. I was lucky enough to get really good directions from a very helpful driver. I worry about getting lost in Canada and getting in trouble in a different country.

if your going to be delivering in the beach on a constant basis, get a good city truck route map. it will save alot of aggravation. preplan your route ahead of time, like any city the more your in it the better you know it. if you servive annacis island on your first trip then you have it made. it's been awhile since i bought one of those maps but you should be able to find them at the fuel stops like petro-pass or you could ask at the nordel scale if they have any.

Ron, a really good map maker up here is MapArt. They make very good maps of ALL of the places in Canada...NOT just the southern 1/2 & Ontario & Quebec.

I have a Canadian Road atlas (about 15$ if I remember right) by them & it's very good, you can also buy provincial maps that have literally every town & city maps in the province in them. I have one for Alberta, Saskatchewan & B.C. each in their own book that have maps of all towns, plus back roads, secondary highways, etc These are updated every year, so they are very current, for about 10$ each

The maps are produced in Calgary & can be bought nearly everywhere...the map makers in the East seem to think there's nothing outside of those two provinces!

RM...the Canada end of the US atlases are CRAP! You, of all people should KNOW that! You KNOW Alberta doesn't end at Grande Prairie! There's a 1000 miles north of there in Alberta! But you won't find THAT in any US Atlas!
