Canadian 387 Owners??

Are there any Canadian O/O's that have a 387, I have spec'd out a 387 and am just trying to run my specs and math against someone who already has a 387 to see if I'm in the right ballpark.
I ordered
387 - 220" WB, ISX 450 at 1550, 3.70 gearing, RTLO18B trans, on 22.5's with the 70" Premium length bunk, I am using it to haul Tandem/Tridem Reefers across Vancouver BC to Brampton Ont.

 

I would strongly recommend you go to cummins powerspec dot com and do the equipment gear calculator for fuel effiency and let me know what you come up with at 65 miles an hour with the top gear ratio of .73 that puts me at 1443 which is where the motor is rated to get the optimum fuel economy. What set up are you running in you're truck right now? and what is you're fuel mileage cross country?? what basis and or experience are you bringing to the dance here W900?? My bigger concern is with weight transfer on the short wheelbase and am hoping to get the front of the trailer about 30 inches away from the back of the sleeper. everyone wants to get these 235+ W/B tractors and then because of the increased weights in Canada guys are having problems with steering axle weights on steering axles for these set back front axles units and are having their trailers 60+ inches away from the sleeper

 

What get's the cat good mileage will not work with the cummins, I assure you I am not just jumping in on this purchase blind. I have been talking to guys who actually have cummins motors, and my old cummins had 4.11 gearing with .73 and I got 5.5 with it hauling 140,000 lb super b trains, and how many times have you driven in the Canadian Rockies, not very many with a 290 WB, I am not looking for good fuel mileage, I am looking for out of this world fuel mileage, with this setup the projected mileage is 8.3 to 9.2
