On Amazon, the Cobra 29 LX has 2 models, one is Canadian Compliant and one is not. Yhe only difference I can see is $140.00. Anyone know what it means? Can't find anything on Google.

Do you need one that is certified in Canada?
I mean they are the same here as there and the only difference I can see is ... no difference at all. I don't need certified equipment when I go to Canada for anything like a CB or Ham radio and never was asked accept when I came back into the states "you got a license for that radio?".
I've sold a lot of radios to Canadians by the way. -
I've never heard of it, but Amazon thinks it's worth alot. I thought it meant instead of a roger beep it said "I'm Sorry" ! Sent a pm to the seller, maybe I'll get a response after the long weekend.

Love to see the ad that tells you its canuck compliant..Its a crock of poo poo...Only diff is basically where and when they were made..

Must be like the "Digital Ready" speakers Canadian Tire was selling a few years ago. -
I found out that they are all the same, no difference other than maybe packaging. Amazon is selling that for a vendor who sets the price, nothing else.
-
With BS like that, I'll shun the vendor from now on!
