Yes. But the border agents could care less if you own your truck, or drive someone elses.
Digitalwarrior Thanks this. -
When I drove on the Manitoba ice roads I all ways had a gun lots of drivers on the ice roads have guns
-
Something funny here. I'm asked almost daily when coming into Ontario if I have any firearms with me. Ofcourse the border nazis on the US side ask me as well when I come back. Can I carry a handgun in Ontario in the truck?
As far as I'm concerned, if a guy wants to have one or many, let them. Why should anyone care? On either side of the border.
I've zero idea what Ca. gun laws are, is it out of Ottawa? Or left up to the provinces? -
Everyone seems to FORGET that poor old HUGH is a CANADIAN in CANADA so very unlikely he will be asked at the BORDER about carrying a GUN.
-
I asked them what difference it would make if I did. After all it was 1230 miles away. -
I know I get ASKED when I cross in / out of Canada as well, tell them I have no need to be ARMED
makes you wonder do they know something I have not heard about yet
-
Same here, I almost told him it was none of his concern, but lied and said no. I was asked once by the nazis if I had a CCW, when I answered yes, he wanted to see it. WTF? I guess a FAST card, passport, and drivers license wasn't enough? I did have another ace in the hole, he never asked for my birth certificate. Of course, this was in Detroit. -
They will ask but I don't carry a gun any more only in my ice road days
