They did the same for me when I went for orientation too and I was only doing Local and some switches. Was always treated fairly and my company truck was well maintained and repaired immediately when anything was found to not be proper. Unfortunately my family and I moved back to Vancouver Island thats the only reason I'm not there anymore. Still keep in touch with several of the drivers on general freight, container division and my old boss. If put a truck on the island I would work for them again in a heartbeat. My good friend is still doing local driving for them after several years on the container division.

Hey guys, run away from D&D Transport out of Chilliwack, BC. Owner, Petr Drbohlav is really crooked, pushing over HOS, Forced dispatch, if you refuse to go you get punnishment. Will let you pay for everything back, even for last year blown-out used tires he bought on the trailer. Nobody will give you more than he will promise to you and than you get back-charge on whatever he decide to. He loves to switch trailers so he can blame and charge you for any damage, even damage happend month later you quit working for him. You pay your own WCB, plates, insurance, cargo insurance, repairs, flat tires etc.... cheap cheap and crooked.
He is looking for owner-operators only, but nobody stays longer than 3- 4 month. GUYS RUN AWAY!!!russellrig Thanks this. -

stay away from jeff bryan transport. I was there over 6 years. the first three were ok, but it has gone into the dumpster since. Low miles , lots of 3 a.m deliveries. Lots of unpaid waiting time. Really starting the nickle and dime routine. But then i am a former employee now, so take it for what it's worth

Inertia is a law of nature. We all are subject to it

like i said the first three were good, but things have slowly and steadily gone to pot. nickle and dime stuff, until i just got fed up. the last straw as it were.
