Sounds like you never had to give a pet up, or put one down.
I've 3 dogs, and don't know how many cats. Luckily, I could leave them at home. I'd rather not have an animal in the truck, but if I had no choice, one would be there.:biggrin_25525: Problem there would be, which one?
If a guy wants his pet with him, what difference should it make to another driver?
I always thought of my animals as being more human than most so called humans.

I've had, and have, dogs and cats. To keep them in a couped up place(IE a big rig) isn't that great for them. IF you loved them dearly, and the choice was take an animal with you, or find them a good home, you find them a good home. Keeping them is a selfish act. However, if you believe otherwise, then so be it. It would be your animal that would have to endure the conditions.

But, since both of us can leave the animals at home, there really is nothing to discuss about it. We're talking about hypotheticals in our situations.

I will never use this company again. They took an FTL I had going to Calgary. They didn't answer the phone when I tried to trace the shipment and when they did, they gave me all kinds of stories that I can prove were lies. When they realized how royally they had screwed up they got scared and held my freight hostage until I wired them the money. The freight has still not delivered.

    That was a tad racists?!?!

Does that mean Indians can't operate trucks or trucking companies competently? Sure sounds that way.
